Aroha Studio | Elegant & Tranquil | Self Contained

Excellently located, well appointed studio. Positive: Location was fabulous - especially enjoyed direct access out onto the riverside trail. Bed was comfortable and the overhead fan was a great addition to air con alone. Studio was comfortably and aesthetically furnished. Forest setting was beautiful. Although there was no oven, the microwave had a clever ‘reheat’ function which warmed food well (a novelty for us UK residents). Negative: The refrigerator was noisy and rattled when it turned on and off. This was loud enough to disturb sleep. There were excellent blackout blinds all round except for the kitchen window which was a wooden Venetian, so light flooded in as soon as it was dawn. Both of these were frustrating, especially when the bed was so comfy!

a little gem of a place Positive: The location - nestled in the woods meant we could sit on the deck and watch parrots, doves etc play, eat and squabble plus go for lovely walks along the river and enjoy the peace. Really nicely laid out room with good facilities. And whilst it was 'near the forest' it was easy to walk into Margaret River so going to restaurants was straightforward. Negative: hard to think about anything.

Good base for travelling around area. Positive: Location good but a minutes out of town. Negative: Nothing

The Aroha House was very clean, well maintained. The balcony had beautiful landscaping it made it very private and lead down to a gate to walking trails in the forest. I highly recommend this place for nature lovers.
