This home was a great base for a week in Margaret River and we would consider booking it again. Positive: Location very central in Margaret River. Tesla charger a bonus for Tesla owners. House very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Negative: Upstairs mezzanine level provides limited privacy for couples with others downstairs - this wasn’t clear from the photos or mentioned in the description (from memory). The key system was a bit clunky especially with three separate couples resident - a digital door lock or single key system would be easier.

A special place, secluded but very close to town. Walk to supermarkets, cafes and town shops. Beautifully cleaned and presented, relaxing indoors and outdoors with everything you need at your fingertips. The Compendium had so much information, with personal recommendations from the host. The slow combustion fireplace was an absolute winner with plenty of wood supplied. So many things to see in and around Margaret River we couldn’t manage them all. For myself, highlights were horse riding at The Horse Resort with Sasha, our guide, and seeing Jewel Cave. The coastline and water colour was its own jewel! Thanks to the House Down South team, I would love to come back and stay again, and see more of south west WA. THANK YOU

Our stay was brilliant Positive: Great location right in the heart of Margaret River, and feeding the birds was a big bonus Negative: The only thing I would suggest is in the twin bedroom - they really need together rid of the medical bed and the hoist from the ceiling and replace it with a normal single bed, it was a little bit spooky having that there thinking obviously someone wasn’t well that slept in that room, my daughter and her friend where very spooked out staying in that room
