Beautiful atmosphere, but be prepared for a cold stay in winter Positive: The hotel has a wonderful historic atmosphere, featuring a beautiful old piano and a cozy fireplace that made it so easy to relax. Surrounded by nature, it’s incredibly quiet and peaceful. At night, I loved stargazing under the clear, starry sky—it was such a special experience. They also have a great collection of puzzles and board games, which made our stay even more fun. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway. Negative: The fireplace is the only source of heat, and it wasn't strong enough to warm the entire house. We had to wear down jackets and wool hats indoors throughout our stay, and two of our family members caught a cold. I would not recommend staying here during the winter months. ​Also, while the hotel is dog-friendly, please note that the garden fence is not fully enclosed. You need to keep a close eye on your dog when outside, otherwise, they could easily get lost in the vast surrounding farmland.

Delightful stay. Positive: Magnificent property which felt just like home. Got a sense of the history of the house and delighted to be able to visit Vasse Felix and gallery next door. Negative: Dangerous Spiral staircase to upper level bedroom which couldn’t be blocked off to young children.

We had a lovely weekend at Trastevere. The setting was great and the location quiet and central to local attractions.

Great for our family, we enjoyed how peaceful the property is and the house had a beautiful warmth to it.
